Although it was not very cold, at the North side of the hill we had some magical ice under which water was trickling down ...
and yes - we did reach the top of Sandstone Peak at 3111 feet and signed our names in the register. Sandstone Peak is close to our home and the highest peak in the Santa Monica Mountains.
