Time to get those pumpkins!

Today I took Iris and Tyko to the pumpkin market to buy some pumpkins for Halloween. After 45 minutes on the jumping castles we got to choose our pumpkins. Next week we will be carving them -

Sunrise

Every now and then one of us gets up early in the morning and climbs up our hill to see the sun come up. This time it were Bibi and her friend. They go to the mountain to up our mountain to enjoy some breakfast or some creativeness ...

Seb to visit us

This weekend we had our shortest guest 'stay-over' from abroad. Seb, Tyko's friend from Holland, actually came to our home this Friday afternoon and will leave again tomorrow morning. He is doing so well with any signs of a jet lag (well - he did wake up at 2 am this morning) as we tried to 'turbo' show him where we live and love to go.

Friday we swam, played basketball and went to a surfers' hamburger place ... as if we saw each other only yesterday.

Saturday we skipped the Hollywood sign (which we felt we needed to do), and went to the beach instead (which we all preferred) ... and had a long and good lunch at the beach bar made up of french toast drained in syrup - and a glass of wine for me -
