Climbing the Christoffel Berg

I'm telling you, the earth changes much faster than we think. Every year we are on the island we climb the Christoffel Berg and every year this mountain is getting higher and higher. Hence: the earth changes fast! And when my children claim differently because they just run up, I just sing "Mamma knows best".








But no matter how fast that mountain grows - we still conquer it :)

 

Swimming at Blauwbaai Kokomo

For Daan's last day on Curacao we went to Blauwbaai. Blauwbaai has changed so much - but that goes for most of Curacao's beaches, or better for all of Curacao. Nevertheless still beautiful and the plus is they have shade (priceless), serve a good cappuccino and to be able to have bitterballen after a swim at sunset is not so bad either.

Today I took Iris and Tyko to the pumpkin market to buy some pumpkins for Halloween. After 45 minutes on the jumping castles we got to choose our pumpkins. Next week we will be carving them -
